Avaliação da Qualidade de Vida e Capacidade Funcional Em Pacientes Após Reconstrução do Ligamento Cruzado Anterior

Resumo: A lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior é uma lesão extremamente comum, totalizando aproximadamente 80.000 casos no ano de 2015. Além da elevada incidência, essas lesões são caracterizadas por intensa repercussão clínica, e a permanência de instabilidade articular pós-lesão de joelho é maior que em qualquer outra lesão articular traumática sofrida em esportes. A reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior é uma cirurgia comum entre os ortopedistas, indicada, principalmente, para pacientes jovens ou atletas que perderam a capacidade de executar movimentos rotatórios em decorrência da instabilidade e da perda proprioceptiva que o joelho adquire após uma lesão aguda ou crônica desse ligamento; assim, torna-se relevante o conhecimento da melhoria da qualidade de vida e funcionalidade de pacientes que foram submetidos à cirurgia de correção de ruptura do ligamento cruzado anterior. Foram avaliados 15 pacientes (14 homens e 1 mulher) submetidos à reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior em um hospital do sistema único de saúde (SUS) localizado em São Paulo, onde os pacientes apresentavam baixo poder aquisitivo e dificuldade de realização de fisioterapia pela rede. Resumo em Inglês: Anterior cruciate ligament injury is an extremely common lesion, totaling approximately 80,000 cases in 2015. In addition to the high incidence, these injuries are characterized by intense clinical repercussion, with greater instability after knee injury than in other patients with any other traumatic joint injury sustained in sports. Thus, the knowledge of the improvement of quality of life and functionality of patients who underwent anterior cruciate ligament rupture correction surgery becomes relevant. In order to analyze the quality of life and functional capacity of patients after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction 15 patients (14 men and 1 woman) who underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in a SUS network located in the Eastern Zone of São Paulo were evaluated: the patients had low purchasing power and difficulty performing physical therapy over the network. As in the literature, this study obtained most of its patients classified as “excellent” in QL after ACL reconstruction, concluding that approximately 60% of the patients evaluated in the study presented good and excellent results when evaluated on the LYSHOLM scale, despite the difficulties in SUS, demonstrating good functional capacity.
